It is not a secret that the fashion world is increasingly at a faster pace than previously observed and the exact reason for what is happening is because it is kept changing in order to look for a look Suitable for every season of the year.
That’s why, two cousins and now members María Paula Ardila and Paola Arango, launched the colombian brand called PUNTAMAR, with the concept of not limiting the use of the swimsuit only to the sea or the pool but dare to use it in other places and occasions generating the possibility of encouraging its use on a daily basis. PUNTA from the geographical approach is the extension of the land, which joins the SEA.
In the meantime, they also did not want to dedicate themselves to what is usually seen as prints. They wanted to change the bodysuits algorithm to something that would tell a story with just three words which are the ones that identify them two: ‘simple, elegant and different’.
As in everything, fear sometimes takes over some situations, however for these two entrepreneurs not getting adequate suppliers, hardworking and consistent workforce, was not going to stop them after having been non-stop for three years handling these obstacles, and even one of its solutions to this issue is no more or less than launching its own factory.
Using their skills to make their brand known and grow, they implemented the arrival of fairs that allow citizens to know about the best brands that represent the talent in the country, covering themes of design, art, photography and gastronomy. By exposing their work, doing business and having effective sales, they were able to grow as a national emporium at fairs such as: Buro, ColombiaModa, among others.
Here is a sneak peek from one of the interviews that Maria and Paola did with those of Colombiana La Nueva with the hashtag of #PrimeroLoNuestro:
